Positively Vegan Society

Positively Vegan is a not-for-profit society creating positive, family-friendly vegan events across British Columbia, including VegFest Nanaimo, VegFest Victoria, and VegFest Kelowna. Our vision is thriving, plant-based communities that promote sustainability, ethical living, and the health of people and the planet. Our mission is to empower and educate people to explore a vegan lifestyle through positive events, entertainment, and educational programs, welcoming everyone from committed vegans to the veg-curious.

Each VegFest brings together plant-based food, local vendors, inspiring speakers, and a Kids Zone, creating a fun and welcoming space for the whole community. Volunteers are at the heart of making these festivals happen, helping with everything from event setup and vendor coordination to guest services and food distribution. If you're passionate about sustainability, animal welfare, or community building, volunteering with Positively Vegan is a rewarding way to support a kinder, more sustainable world while being part of a warm, values-driven community.
