General Office Volunteers - High Intensity (remote)
Ongoing
General Office Volunteer - High Intensity (remote) Organization: Right to Live Canada Right to Live Canada | 20+ hrs/week | Volunteer Position ------ About Right to Live Canada Right to Live is a start-up non-profit corporation creating the first solution infrastructure to offer competitive, viable alternatives to MAiD that consist of a living future. We are building a referable resource for MAiD assessors and care teams to address Economic Euthanasia (cases where an alternative was possible but not achieved) and Economic Disability Euthanasia (applications driven by the systemic poverty present in Canadian disability support programs). ------ The Opportunity Right to Live Canada is a new start-up non-profit dedicated to solving Economic Euthanasia. We are in need of high intensity, committed volunteers who are ready and willing to put in the hard work to rapidly scale the start-up. This means a volunteer load of 20+ hours per week, for a duration up to the volunteer. The only skill requirement is the ability to work in a remote office environment (Slack, Google Workspace), have good judgement and be able to self manage, and be able to self-learn and do general digital office tasks. We'll give you the necessary direction and training to do your role. This opportunity would be ideal for those who have the opportunity for sufficient availability (summer break, unemployment, retired, etc) and want utilize their time in an impactful and meaningful way. The high hours and thus intensity commitment per week allows us to fill some work needs that require a single dedicated volunteer on a given, time-intensive, urgent task.
