Tech Cafe Program
Our Tech Cafes are two-hour events where older adults can get “technology tutoring.” They bring their smartphones or tablets and ask our volunteers basic questions, such as: How do I use my new iPhone? How can I manage my calendar app? How can I check my voicemail? Would you be interested in helping out? As a Tech Café volunteer, you can experience the joy of providing one-on-one support to an older adult that helps them solve challenges and feel more confident on their digital journey! Tech Cafés are generally held on a Saturday and are a great volunteer opportunity for High School students. Tech Cafe Schedule Burlington Centre (“The Hub”) – Third Saturday of every month, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Milton Public Library – Fourth Saturday of every month, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Halton Hills Public Library – Fourth Saturday of every month, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Join us in bridging the digital divide and empowering older adults to stay connected with their loved ones and their community.
