Youth Empowerment & Support Services

Youth Empowerment & Support Services (YESS) is a non-profit organization that has been serving youth in Edmonton since 1981. We walk alongside young people facing difficult realities, offering safe spaces, basic needs, and a network of caring support.

Our mission is to create a community where all youth feel safe, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. We do this through shelter, resources, and partnerships that help youth move toward stability and growth.

When you volunteer with YESS, you’re helping create the foundation for that support. Whether you’re assisting at fundraising events, sorting donations, helping with community clean-ups, or pitching in on special projects, you are making a direct impact by ensuring our programs run smoothly and our youth have what they need to succeed.
