YouTube Channel Manager

Autism Independent Living Association is an Edmonton based charity that is dedicated to Building an Intentional Supportive Housing Community for Autistic Adults in Edmonton.

Our mission is to support autistic adults with moderate needs to develop to their full potential by providing person-centered care needed to live independently in the community. 
There are 4 components of this mission:
1.	To foster a supportive community for the benefit of autistic adults and their families
2.	To develop leadership skills for autistic adults.
3.	To develop independent living skills for autistic adults who will live in the community.
4.	To build a sustainable and intentional housing community led by autistic adults and their allies

We are looking for someone who is passionate about serving the autism community and is creative and able to work with minimal supervision. We are seeking a dedicated YouTube Channel Manager Volunteer to upload and organize already developed content, boost our YouTube presence, grow and engage our community. Your creativity and strategy will amplify our mission, share inspiring stories, and grow our audience. 

Responsibilities: 
Organize and upload developed content ensuring public and private access is managed correctly.  
Work with a volunteer social media team to elevate AiLA’s digital presence to ensure consistent channel growth.  
Plan, manage and execute the publishing schedule. 
Optimize videos and descriptions to increase click rates and audience engagement.  
Ensure content aligns with brand standards and strategic objectives. 

SKILL SET AND EXPERIENCE: 
Preferred 2 years' experience managing and growing YouTube channels with expertise in YouTube analytics, algorithms and search engine optimization.  
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
Basic video editing and experience in content creation is an asset.  

Certification or Education Required 
College diploma or higher in Marketing, Business Management, Digital Arts or related field
