Fundraising Coordinator

Ongoing 
Special Olympics BC - Comox Valley is seeking the services of a Fundraising Coordinator capable of running annual fundraising initiatives that will generate between $10,000 - $20,000 annually in support of our mission.  This position may be held by one or two individuals.  

Responsibilities will include:
  - Coordinating fundraising activities
  - Developing an annual fundraising plan that includes (but may not be limited to):
          - Contacting service clubs and other organizations that might provide financial
             support to the local
           - Engaging in corporate donor support
           - Hosting at least one fundraising event per year
     - Liaise with Special Olympics BC Provincial Office regarding fundraising activities, grants, 
        sponsors and campaigns
     - Recognize, support and partake in provincial and national sponsorship programs
