Youth United Project
Youth United Project is a registered not-for-profit organization established in 2022. Our mission is to provide underprivileged students in Canada with access to quality education through our virtual tutoring program. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their socioeconomic background. Our YUP tutoring initiative offers online classes in a variety of elementary school subjects, all conducted online via Zoom on a weekly basis. We are 200+ volunteers strong and tutor more than 500 youth aged 5-13.
We are seeking dedicated high school and college/university volunteers to join our team and help provide quality education in the subjects of English, Mathematics, French, Science, Coding, and Mandarin to elementary school students in need in Canada. As a volunteer tutor, you will be eligible for community service hours while gaining valuable teaching experience. Classes are held once a week for one hour via our Zoom platform from September to June, with regular school holidays and flexible hours to accommodate your schedule. No prior experience is required, and all necessary curriculum materials, such as worksheets, textbooks, and lesson slideshows, are provided (but you are always welcome to bring your own). If you are passionate about education or want to make a positive impact on the lives of young students, we invite you to become a volunteer at Youth United Project!
