Position: Volunteer Legal Advisor

Advisor Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance on corporate law and non-profit governance matters
- Advise on compliance with regulatory requirements and Society Act obligations
- Support contract review and legal document preparation
- Provide counsel on risk management and liability issues
- Advise on employment law and volunteer management matters

Required Qualifications:
- Licensed lawyer in British Columbia in good standing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with non-profit experience
- Knowledge of BC Society Act and non-profit regulatory framework
- Experience with corporate governance and compliance matters

Commitment: Flexible schedule, approximately 5-10 hours per quarter

Duration: Ongoing until sufficient expertise is secured
