Vancouver Fan Expo - Make-A-Wish Canada Booth Ambassador

Make-A-Wish is excited to be returning to Vancouver Fan Expo from February 14-16 2026! Fan Expo is the ultimate fandom weekend of celebrities, cosplay, comics, anime, gaming and much more. Guests at the Expo will have the opportunity to enter the Star Wars photo booth area or the droid racing area with a donation to Make-A-Wish. Volunteers will be helping with crowd control and the operation of these booths and engaging with the public about the mission of Make-A-Wish. Staff will be present onsite to manage donation collection and provide oversight. Volunteers will receive full day admission on the date of their shift to explore all the excitement the expo has to offer before or after their shift.

Event Details
Location: Vancouver Convention Centre, West Building 1055 Canada Place, Vancouver, BC, V6C 0C3 (meeting spot to be confirmed)
Times and Shifts:
Saturday February 14th: 9:30am-2:30pm (4 volunteers needed) / 2:30pm-7:00pm (4 volunteers needed) - shift includes a break
Sunday February 15th and Monday February 16th: 9:30am-1:30pm (4 volunteers needed) / 1:30pm-5:00pm (4 volunteers needed) - shifts include a break

Other Notes:
- To Bring: MAW t-shirt will be provided, comfortable shoes (you will be on your feet the whole shift), water bottle, and snacks
- Parking nearby is extremely limited (MAW does not reimburse for parking), but venue is accessible by transit
- Volunteers must be 18+ to support this activity
