Make-A-Wish Canada: Game Con Edmonton (June 19-21, 2026)

Game Con Canada is a three-day gaming expo where attendees will have access to play hundreds of games from video game studios and board game developers from around the world. Make-A-Wish will be hosting a booth at Game Con and we would love for you to join us to volunteer as a Booth Ambassador for Make-A-Wish!

Details:
Date: Friday June 19-Sunday June 21 *available shifts: Friday 3:00pm-6:00pm and Saturday 10:30am-2:00pm
Location: Edmonton Expo Centre (7515 - 118 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T5B 0J2)
To Bring: Comfortable shoes. Water Bottle
General Responsibilities: Acting as a Make-A-Wish Ambassador, answering questions about MAWC's mission, accepting donations

Other Information:
- Volunteers must be 18+ to participate in this event
- Volunteers will be provided with Make-A-Wish t-shirt that must be worn on shift
- Volunteers will receive access to Game Con to check it out before/after your volunteer shift
- Paid Parking onsite (MAWC cannot reimburse), transit accessible
- Snacks provided
- Training for collecting donations and booth operations will be provided at the event
