Friendly Visitor Volunteer Training With Seniors Available at No Cost

Are you looking for a meaningful opportunity? Our Community Support Services at Jewish Seniors Alliance is accepting applications for our Friendly Visiting Program. The volunteer training will prepare you with the skills to interact with seniors in our community and will enhance employment opportunities and personal growth. The program is available to people 18 years and older. The training consists of five sessions all on zoom and the sixth session in person at our office at 800 Broadway East, Vancouver, BC The training is offered at no cost and at the end of the training you will receive a certificate in friendly visiting, Volunteers need to live in Vancouver to be able to visit seniors who live in Vancouver The training consists of five sessions all on Zoom and the sixth session in person on Mondays and Wednesdays.
