Ongoing
The Gallery Attendant plays an important role in creating a welcoming and engaging experience for visitors to the Federation of Canadian Artists gallery on Granville Island. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering inquiries, maintaining visitor and exhibition records, assisting with award certificate distribution to artists, and sharing information about the FCA, our exhibitions, and participating artists.

Gallery Attendants should have an interest in the visual arts and enjoy engaging with the public in a friendly and professional manner. In addition to front desk support, volunteers may assist with a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, exhibition preparation, and marketing support.

This role offers valuable hands-on experience in gallery operations and arts administration, making it an excellent opportunity for students, emerging arts professionals, or anyone interested in gaining experience in the cultural sector.
