Purpose. Ownership. Voice
POV (Purpose. Ownership. Voice.) is a youth-focused identity infrastructure movement based in Canada that exists to help young people build a strong sense of identity, purpose, confidence, and direction. At its core, POV addresses what it describes as “identity poverty”: the lack of clarity, self-awareness, belonging, and personal ownership that many young people experience today.
Through mentorship, community engagement, education, storytelling, leadership development, and transformative programs, POV equips young people with the tools to better understand who they are, where they are going, and how to contribute meaningfully to society. The organization creates safe and empowering spaces where youth can develop self-worth, discover purpose, strengthen their voice, and grow into confident leaders within their communities.
POV’s mission is not only to support personal growth but also to build sustainable systems and frameworks that foster long-term identity formation, community impact, and generational transformation among young people.
