EmpowHERto is on the lookout for a passionate and organized Event Coordinator to join our dynamic volunteer team! This is a hybrid volunteer position perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves planning memorable events, and is driven by a mission to uplift and empower young women in our communities.

✨ What You’ll Do:
As our Event Coordinator, you’ll take the lead on planning and executing engaging, mission-aligned events from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:

🔹 Event Planning & Coordination
Collaborate with our Events Team to design, organize, and deliver impactful events—think workshops, fundraisers, and outreach initiatives that inspire.

🔹 Vendor & Partner Liaison
Connect and coordinate with vendors, speakers, exhibitors, and venue reps to ensure all logistics are flawless—catering, entertainment, rentals, you name it.

🔹 Logistics Management
Oversee every phase of the event—set-up, execution, tear-down, and follow-up—to ensure seamless operations.

🔹 Budget Oversight
Track and manage event budgets with precision to keep everything cost-effective and on-target.

🔹 Scheduling & Booking
Secure venues, entertainers, photographers, and guest speakers while tailoring experiences to suit our vibrant, young audience.

🔹 Quality Control
Ensure each event meets our high standards by conducting final inspections and addressing last-minute needs on the day of the event.

🔹 Post-Event Reporting
Evaluate event success and provide feedback to the Events Team to help us keep raising the bar.

🌟 What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 1+ year in event planning or coordination (bonus points for nonprofit or community experience!)

Strong Organizational Skills: Able to juggle multiple events and deadlines without breaking a sweat.

Vendor Management: Confident in negotiating, managing logistics, and ensuring vendor follow-through.

People Skills: Friendly, professional, and a strong communicator—comfortable working with a diverse range of people.

Type: Volunteer (Hybrid – some virtual, some in-person events)

Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week

Commitment: Flexibility required, including availability to attend scheduled events
