EmpowHERto is a women-led nonprofit organization founded in Toronto in 2017, dedicated to empowering minority girls and young women aged 14-21 from underserved communities. With a mission to break systemic barriers, EmpowHERto provides programs in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, mental health, leadership, and mentorship.

Since expanding to Fort Lauderdale in 2020, the organization aims to positively impact over 1,000 girls across both locations by 2025. In 2023, EmpowHERto served over 652 girls, invested $350,000 in the community, and facilitated the creation of 92 small businesses.
