Marketing & Communications Volunteer

Bulgarian Cultural Center Canada Inc. is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing & Communications Volunteer to help us strengthen our online presence and grow our reach within the Bulgarian and broader Canadian community.

You will help us develop practical marketing and social media strategies, create ideas for engaging content, promote cultural events and initiatives, and identify effective ways to reach families, community members, businesses, professionals, volunteers, and potential partners.

Responsibilities may include:

Developing social media and digital marketing strategies
Suggesting content ideas and campaigns for Facebook, Instagram and other platforms
Helping promote our website, events, programs and community initiatives
Identifying opportunities to reach new audiences and grow engagement
Developing ideas for partnerships with Bulgarian businesses, professionals and community organizations
Advising on ways to increase participation in our online Event Calendar and Business & Professional Directory
Helping develop a consistent communications and promotional approach

What we're looking for:
Someone with an interest or experience in marketing, social media, communications, public relations, community outreach, or digital strategy. Nonprofit experience is an asset but not required.
