Need Volunteers for Wednesdays (12:30-2:30pm) for Grade 3/4 class for Outdoor Learning
Looking for experience working with children in education? Like spending time outside? I am a teacher looking for volunteers who would be willing to join our class in the forest and community so that students can have opportunities for experiential learning outdoors. In order to facilitate this, I need to ensure we have responsible volunteers to help with maintaining ratios and safety.
Certification or Education Required
Volunteers will need a criminal record check and fill out volunteer application form provided by Surrey School District 36

Volunteers will gain experience working with children in an educational setting. They will also learn how to instruct and lead children in an outdoor and community setting. These skills are invaluable for those looking to work with children/youth. It is a wonderful opportunity for retired or senior volunteers to connect with youth in their community and build relationships as well has having fun in the outdoors.
