Journey Psychology is a leading psychology practice in Sherwood Park, dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. We are seeking a motivated and creative volunteer to join our team as a Social Media & Marketing Assistant. We are ideally looking for someone in there Sherwood Park/Edmonton area as this will be a hybrid position. Role Overview: As a Social Media & Marketing Assistant, you will help strengthen our online presence and contribute to our mission of mental health awareness and education. This role is ideal for someone passionate about mental health, psychology, and communication. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation: Develop engaging, informative, and brand-aligned content for our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). Blog Writing: Research and write accessible, well-informed blog posts on mental health topics to help educate the public and reduce stigma. Community Engagement: Monitor and interact with our online community, responding to comments/messages with empathy and professionalism. Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent and respectful voice across all communications in line with our values and mission
Certification or Education Required
Strong written communication and storytelling skills. Interest in psychology and mental health. Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn). Basic graphic design or Canva experience is a plus. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
