interVivos Board Member

interVivos is a volunteer-led Edmonton non-profit advancing leadership and community impact. Since 2006, our mentorship and engagement programs have connected people from all backgrounds to build skills, confidence, and community. With no staff, board members are hands-on in keeping interVivos running and moving forward. 

Board Openings
1. Secretary (executive role): supports board operations and strong governance
2. Treasurer (executive role): provides financial oversight and accountability
3. General Board Members: especially those with experience in communications, strategic planning, community engagement, or fund development

About the board member role
a) Attend virtual bi-monthly evening and weekend board meetings
b) Join virtual bi-weekly evening and weekend working sessions
c) Support in-person events and activities (typically also evenings/weekends)
d) Serve as ambassadors for interVivos and our vision of inspired, informed leadership

Term
A two-year term follows a successful three-month trial period. This is an unpaid volunteer position that starts on March 31, 2026.
