Google Ads Specialist (Remote, Part-Time)

Organization: Right to Live Canada Location: Remote Openings: Multiple positions Start Date: Immediately Position Type: Unpaid volunteer role Time Commitment: Part-time, minimum 12 hours per week for at least three months Meeting Requirement: Required attendance at 1–3 virtual meetings per week, with a maximum of three meetings per week ------ ABOUT THE ROLE Right to Live Canada is recruiting a small team of Google Ads Specialists to expand and optimize our existing Google Ad Grant campaigns. The immediate priority is to create effective Google Search campaigns that drive qualified visitors to our OpenABLS landing page and sponsorship page, improve landing-page performance, and increase completed sponsorships. Additional campaigns will support other important areas of the Right to Live website. ------ ABOUT RIGHT TO LIVE CANADA Right to Live Canada is an early-stage Canadian non-profit working to make the right to live a practical, supported, and executable choice. Our work focuses on building Continuity — service, financial, technological, and institutional systems that help people remain connected to preferable living futures. ------ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -- Research high-intent keywords and search terms. -- Create, launch, and optimize Google Search campaigns. -- Organize campaigns and ad groups. -- Write and test effective ad copy. -- Monitor search terms and manage negative keywords. -- Improve targeting and traffic quality. -- Set up or verify conversion tracking. -- Analyze campaign and landing-page performance. -- Identify improvements that can increase sponsorship conversions. -- Expand campaigns across other important website areas. This is a hands-on execution role for someone comfortable working directly in Google Ads and using campaign data to make practical improvements. ------ QUALIFICATIONS Required: -- Experience creating and managing Google Ads/PPC campaigns with measurable conversions. -- Strong understanding of keywords, search intent, match types, negative keywords, ad groups, and responsive search ads. -- Experience with conversion tracking and Google Analytics. -- Ability to analyze campaign data and improve conversion performance. -- Strong written communication and attention to detail. -- Ability to work independently with ownership and follow-through. -- Ability to commit **at least 12 hours per week for 3 months**. Preferred: -- Google Ad Grant experience. -- Google Ads certification. -- Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Wix, or Stripe. -- Experience with sponsorship, donation, or conversion-focused campaigns. -- Experience writing conversion-focused ad or landing-page copy. ------ TWO-WEEK PRIORITY Within the first two weeks, the goal is to have: -- OpenABLS Google Search campaigns launched. -- Ads directing qualified traffic to the OpenABLS landing and sponsorship pages. -- Conversion tracking working correctly. -- Initial landing-page improvements identified or implemented. ------ MEETING & EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS Volunteers must have a reliable computer, internet connection, camera, and microphone and be able to attend 1–3 virtual meetings per week with full attention.
