ABOUT RIGHT TO LIVE Right to Live is a federally registered start-up non-profit developing the missing referrable solution system for Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), directly addressing economic euthanasia. This will fulfill the missing, required ‘viable alternative’ that MAiD program assessors are mandated to refer a patient to as the primary and sole method of diverting a qualified candidate from MAiD. This represents a solution to economic euthanasia (defined as voluntary euthanasia where an alternative was possible but not offered or delivered) and to disability euthanasia (driven by systemic poverty present in Canadian disability support programs). We achieve this through a tripartite design: - A national ‘viable alternative’ assessment service: To research and construct a viable alternative proposal package that is actionable and achievable. - 1:1 Dedicated case navigator service: To take the generated plan and execute it to alleviate the source causes of suffering. - Social brokerage service: An open market brokerage exchanging capital for life-affirming outcomes. THE SPONSORSHIP CAMPAIGN We offer a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and social impact sponsorship opportunity that provides concrete marketing benefits. Our current ‘Founding Campaign’ features a three-case pilot and secures the core operational personnel required for Right to Live to begin regular operations and national-scale development. B2B sponsorships directly fund these campaign outcomes, with sponsoring companies receiving the impact claims, brand association, and public ledger recognition that act as a high-value marketing product. THE ROLE We are seeking motivated and diligent individuals to volunteer as B2B Sponsorship Development Representatives. You will research potential leads, cold-call them to pitch our sponsorship opportunity, email a sponsorship pitch PDF document, follow up later and secure the sponsorship or respectfully thank them for their time if they decline. This standard non-profit sponsorship campaign public outreach campaign will provide us the funds with which we will recruit core personnel and complete a three-case pilot of our euthanasia viable alternative service. WHAT YOU WILL DO: - Research: Use Gemini or ChatGPT as research tools to find appropriate sponsorship leads, combined with your own search skills. - Prospect & Pitch: Actively cold-call businesses within your assigned geographic region or strategic search criteria. - Open Doors: Secure permission from decision-makers to send our official Sponsorship Package PDF. - Manage the Pipeline: Diligently track all leads, outbound calls, and current pipeline status using our Google Sheets-based CRM. - Close Partnerships: Manage a typical sales funnel—follow up appropriately, negotiate value, and close sponsorship agreements. REQUIREMENTS: - Prior experience in sales is a plus but not strictly necessary. - Must possess a reliable smartphone and a laptop. - Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Gemini, Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive). - A highly professional attitude and the ability to work entirely autonomously. - Ability to have a confident and respectful conversation on the phone. There is a script but some improvisation may be needed at times. HOW TO APPLY: Please apply via the form on our website: https://www.righttolive.ca/volunteer
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
- Massive impact: Help our founding campaign reach success and allow us to boot up our non-profit and support three people in our pilot. - LinkedIn skill endorsements: Receive endorsements for the skills you demonstrate during volunteering. - Letter of recommendation: After three months of volunteering, receive a letter of reference if requested.
