Seeking 2–4 volunteers to support our Game Day Youth Program by creating a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment where youth can connect through board games and card games while building friendships, teamwork, and social skills. Available Shift: Wednesdays | 3:15 PM – 5:30 PM Responsibilities: Welcome youth and help them feel comfortable joining activities. Set up and organize board games and card games before each session. Explain game rules and help participants learn new games. Facilitate gameplay while encouraging teamwork, fair play, and respectful communication. Help youth choose games that match their interests and experience levels. Encourage participation and ensure everyone feels included. Help maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment. Assist with cleaning up and organizing games and supplies at the end of the session. Report any safety concerns or behavioural issues to program staff. Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older. Enjoy working with youth (ages 11–15) in a positive, patient, and encouraging manner. Friendly, reliable, and comfortable engaging with youth. Interest in learning and facilitating a variety of board games and card games. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with staff and fellow volunteers. Commitment: September 16 – June 23 (Wednesdays, 3:15 PM – 5:30 PM).
