Food Drive Pickup Volunteer (18+, using own large vehicle)

Seeking a volunteer aged 18+ who can drop off donation bins and pickup food drive proceeds between local donors and KSM, using their own large vehicle (large SUV, van, pickup truck)  

Suitable for volunteers who have a valid drivers license, insured vehicle and can lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to occasional calls/emails from KSM's Fundraising and Communication team and advise your availability to pickup food drive items. 
Arrive at donor locations at pre-arranged time
Greet donors warmly and thank them on behalf of KSM.
Load donations carefully into the vehicle.
Transport donations to KSM and help unload them into the appropriate storage facility.
Contact KSM contact if any issues arise along the route and also confirm pickups have been made.
Drive carefully, obeying speed limits and local traffic/parking bylaws.
Positively represent KSM on the road and in the community.

Requirements: 

Must be 18+.
Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Flexible schedule.
Good driver with a valid G driver's license and current auto insurance.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with no issue.
Mobile phone with text capability.
Ability to cover the cost of gas/mileage if using own car.
Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check (police check).

Commitment: Occasional pickups for a minimum of 6 months.
