Community Food Delivery --Volunteer Driver (Occasional)

Help deliver food parcels to local clients who are unable to come to Kerr Street Mission due to health, mobility, or other reasons. This role is perfect for volunteers 18+ who are reliable, compassionate, and comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities:
Pick up and load food parcels at KSM
Deliver parcels following a set route (5–8 drop-offs per shift)
Return parcels if contact cannot be made and report to the Community Delivery Coordinator
Shred any client documents after deliveries
Represent KSM positively in the community

Requirements:
18+ with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Reliable, punctual, and organized
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Mobile phone with texting capability
Compassionate, patient, and respectful of client confidentiality
Ability to cover gas/mileage costs
Vulnerable Sector Check (police check) required
