Transportation Support

Year Round 
As a volunteer driver, you will safely transport people we support to their scheduled appointments related to their medical, financial, social, recreation and life necessities.

Duties will include:

- Safely transporting passengers
- Providing friendly & caring conversation/rapport along the way
- Ensuring all passengers are wearing seat belts & abiding by safety 
  procedures
- Reporting any safety concerns/incidents
- Respecting confidentiality
- Must have valid insurance, clean driver's record, & vulnerable sector 
  record completed

Additional Details & Skills Required
Orientation and Training is provided ; Training on-going.
Car is required.
Volunteer driver would drive in Oakville/Halton area.
This volunteer position is suitable for:  Adults (18+) ; Seniors (55+) ; Post-secondary students ; Community Groups ; Workplaces / Corporate Groups.
- Must have immunizations including proof of Covid-19 vaccinations
Certification or Education Required
Driver's License is required.
Driver's abstract required.
Proof of insurance required.
