Sustainable Milton is an active, non-profit environmental group which welcomes many new volunteers each year. Our goal is to create a sustainable and resilient Milton through initiatives that help reduce the impacts of climate change. Environment First, Solution Focused. That’s the essence of Sustainable Milton.
Sustainable Milton is a community, so part of your role would be to help new members feel a part of this community. We welcome many new volunteers each year, so introducing them to Sustainable Milton is an important job. We want people to know that their skills are needed for the organization and that their time and energy are essential for the protection of the environment. 
Essentially, you will respond to new members with a list of upcoming activities and follow up regarding ways they can get more involved. 
As a New Member Ambassador, you will be working closely with our Volunteer Co-ordinator and Membership Director. You will be expected to keep abreast of the ongoing and upcoming activities of the Events committee. 
This is a position for an adult or mature student.
