Sustainable Milton

Sustainable Milton is a nonprofit, non-partisan environmental advocacy group located in Milton, Ontario. Our goal is to create a sustainable and resilient Milton through initiatives that help reduce the impacts of climate change. Environment First, Solution Focused. That’s the essence of Sustainable Milton. By working together with individuals, businesses, and the government, we can create lasting change for present and future generations. We are a diverse group of volunteers who organize clean-ups, remove invasive species, install native plants, maintain community gardens and hold workshops on a variety of topics including Zero-Waste Cooking, Heat Pumps, and Composting. In the spring we host a Future House event showcasing the green products and services of local businesses. Our Government Engagement Team meets with local representatives and delegates at municipal council meetings on a variety of issues. Come join us!
