Country for a Cause 2026 Event Committee Volunteers Wanted Country for a Cause is returning to Pitt Meadows on October 24, 2026, and we are building a volunteer committee to help bring this incredible evening to life. Last year’s inaugural event sold out in just two weeks, welcomed 250 guests, and raised vital funds to help low- and moderate-income seniors across British Columbia access non-medical home support. This year, we are ready to make an even greater impact, and we need enthusiastic, dependable people to join us. Committee opportunities include: Sponsorship outreach and relationship building Silent and live auction item procurement Social media, marketing, and event promotion Ticket sales and community outreach Event planning and logistics Décor and guest experience Volunteer recruitment and coordination Event setup, registration, and day-of support You do not need event-planning experience or the ability to do everything. We are building a team where each person can contribute their own strengths, ideas, skills, and connections. Funds help subsidize practical, non-medical home support such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, companionship, safety checks, errands, and respite for family caregivers. Every sponsor secured, auction item collected, ticket sold, and hour volunteered helps a senior receive the support they need to remain at home with dignity, safety, and choice. Event date: October 24, 2026 Location: Pitt Meadows, BC Ready to be part of something meaningful? Send us a message telling us a little about yourself and the area of the committee that interests you. Whether you are an experienced event organizer, a natural networker, a creative thinker, or simply someone who enjoys helping a great team get things done, we would love to hear from you.
