Bring your passion for advocacy and your charisma to the table, let’s turn ideas into action and elevate the voices that deserve to be heard!

About Us:
At More at Home Society, our mission is to ensure that individuals who are falling through the cracks of British Columbia’s system receive the essential support they need. We specialize in providing comprehensive home care services to support seniors during their time on long waitlists for more permanent care solutions. We focus on:

1. Immediate Home Care Support: While individuals are awaiting needed services, we offer tailored home care that addresses their immediate health and personal care needs.
2. Transitioning from Hospital to Home: We facilitate a smoother transition for individuals returning home from healthcare facilities by delivering essential services and resources.
3. Promoting Aging in Place: We believe every senior deserves the right to live independently and safely in their own home. We work diligently to connect seniors with the necessary home care services that allow them to age in place with dignity.

Through our roundtable discussions, we aim to hear directly from seniors about their home care experiences and challenges. Their voices and insights are invaluable in helping us shape effective solutions tailored to their needs.
