Country for a Cause - Fundraising event volunteer. 1 night only.

Are you ready to have a great time while making a difference? Join us as a volunteer for our upcoming Country for a Cause event on October 25th! This is a one-night event that promises fun,  live music, mechanical bull riding, food trucks and a chance to help support a great cause. We support those who are falling through the cracks of BC's system. Whether it is support while on very long waitlists, enhancing hospital-to-home release, or those who want to age in place, we will provide the funding necessary to hire home care services for support. This event is the key to us becoming operational, but we need YOU to make it happen! 

Event Details:
- Date: October 25th
- Time: 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM (Shifts available for 6 hours or the full night)
- Location: Sky Hangar, Pitt Meadows Airport

Volunteer Responsibilities:
As a volunteer, you will assist with:
- Event setup and takedown
- Attendee check-in and registration
- Auction table or other fundraising needs
- Providing support to event staff and guests
- Bar runner, keeping it stocked through the night
- Bar sales.....if you have your serving it right
- General duties: bussing tables, helping the live band/ mechanical bull, assisting at the games area or photo booth

Skilled positions:
If you have any of these skills, be sure to let us know, we can prioritize you in this area! 
- Photographer or extra social media skillsets:  We need someone to capture the night. Videos, photos etc. 
- Bartender, server: Must have experience, and your serving it right
- Tech, Dj. Slideshow: Can you run the slideshow, play the music in between the live band, etc.
- Sales:  Very outgoing, don't shy away from the sales push? We'll be sure to put you on 50/50 etc. 
- Organization: Very detailed orientated? Auction table and check in will be your jam! 

Physical limitations:
We strive to be inclusive. This venue is wheelchair friendly, and sitting is an option for mobility or pain/fatigue issues. Let us know, and we will do our very best!

Requirements:
- Must be at least 19 to volunteer.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help!
- Ability to work as part of a team.
