We are looking for assistance to deliver some hot meals at lunch time on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Our volunteers pick up the meals from the Mannville, Alberta Care Center and deliver to members of the community. We invite the volunteers to have a brief visit while providing this service.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Meals on Wheels is a great opportunity for volunteers to get to know their community and its residents. It is a short task but is much appreciated my many. The brief visits would provide a sense of belonging and help to develop interpersonal skills.
