LCYC Volunteer Host
Do you enjoy meeting and hanging out with youth? Do you enjoy gaming, board games or pool? Volunteer as a Host during LCYC Drop-In hours - evenings, Wednesday - Saturday. The Host’s role is to provide support by: • Providing a model for healthy, trusting relationships through clear communication and appropriate boundary establishment • Acknowledging strengths, talents and gifts and encouraging the youth to find ways to use them. • Being an active listener and offering support and encouragement when appropriate.
