Assessment Review Board members

Members must complete training provided by the Land and Property Rights Tribunal. This training is offered online only. Upon successful completion of this training, members are appointed to the Board by Council for a three year term. Members will also be appointed to the Joint Assessment Review Board. Members will be asked to attend scheduled hearings typically in August and/or September. CARB hearings are held virtually, LARB hearings are held in person at City Hall. As a member of the ARB you will hear evidence as presented by the Complainant and the Respondent. Board members write decisions based on legislation and the evidence provided.
