Meals on Wheels is a non profit service, providing hot meals to seniors in our community Monday-Friday. Meals are prepared at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization, organized into routes and ready for pick-up by volunteer drivers by 10:15. Routes are completed by 12:15 pm. Schedule is flexible and casual or occasional drivers (1-2 times a month) are encouraged to apply.
Additional Details & Skills Required
Reference letters and volunteer hours are available upon completing 40 hours of volunteer service.
Certification or Education Required
Class 5 Drivers Licence

Income tax receipts, for kilometres driven on routes, will be provided at the end of the year. This donation tax receipt helps off set the costs associated with operating your vehicle while volunteering with us.
