Ongoing, flexible, weekly or biweekly.

Meals on Wheels is a non profit service, providing hot meals to seniors in our community Monday-Friday. Meals are prepared at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization,  organized into routes and ready for pick-up by volunteer drivers by 10am. Routes are typically completed by 12pm or earlier.

Schedule is flexible and both committed drivers (weekly) or casual drivers (1-2 times a month) are encouraged to apply.

Volunteers are required to use their personal vehicle, have a valid drivers license, liability insurance, and have the ability to walk, climb stairs, and carry a grocery bag.

We can write reference letters for our volunteers when needed, track hours your for LSCO membership discounts, and have complimentary coffee/tea at our Diner.

Income tax receipts are given for mileage. This donation tax receipt helps to off set the costs associated with operating your vehicle while volunteering with us.
