Are you passionate about supporting families and making a difference in the Central Okanagan? The Family Friend Program matches volunteers to be friends and mentor to single moms who feel isolated and lack support. We are looking for people who Identify as female, who are compassionate, non judgemental and has experience in nurturing and supporting a child through hands on experience as a parent or caregiver.

Full training is provided for this role as well as on going support Family Friend Staff carefully match each volunteer with a mom that they think will be a great fit for both volunteer and mom, this often creates a lasting friendship for both. Flexible schedule - You and the mom you’re matched with set your own schedule. A one-on-one connection that fits into your life and theirs.
