Would you like to make a difference in the life of a single parent? The Family Friend Program matches volunteers as competent companions/support person to single parents who are feeling alone due to the stresses of parenting young children. Family Friends provide mentorship/friendship, practical and emotional support, and mutually agreed upon activities. Full training and support is given. Preference will be given to individuals who have children/grandchildren.
