Employment Mentor for Internationally Trained Newcomers

1-2 hours / weekly
1 to 2 month term
Offer one-on-one support to internationally trained newcomers on their journey to finding meaningful employment in Canada. Support includes:
-resume review, and interview skills practice
-enhanced understanding of Canadian workplace culture
-information on knowledge of best practices and industry information
-information on how to build professional networks locally
-support, feedback and encouragement.
The commitment is 12 hours over a 4-6 week period. We need mentors from all professional backgrounds, including: Engineering, Human Resources, Business, Banking, Accounting and Health.
