Write to African Children, Inspire & Connect Beyond Borders with Pen Pal Magic App!

In many rural communities in Africa, poverty and tradition force children into adult roles far too soon, becoming parents, spouses, or laborers as early as age 12. Education is often cut short, and support is limited.

Through our Pen Pal Program, children in Uganda connect with volunteers and pen pals from different countries to exchange messages, share experiences, restore hope, learn about one another’s cultures, and build meaningful friendships across borders.

We now use the Pen Pal Magic app to make communication quick, easy, and engaging. As a volunteer, you can communicate with a child through the app and share encouraging messages, stories, and questions.

You don't need to be a professional mentor. You simply need a willingness to listen, communicate, encourage, and learn.
