Girls Linking Our Worlds (GLOW) is an 8-week school-based group mentoring program for elementary aged girls that focuses on empowerment and leadership development. The program is facilitated by 2-3 adult mentors for one hour/week in a school.

A team of 2-3 female identifying mentors lead the program and play a crucial role in supporting the program’s mission to empower young girls. Mentors guide participants through discussions, creative and physical activities, and group exercises that promote leadership, self-awareness, and healthy living. They also encourage inclusive participation and respect, a safe and supportive environment for open communication, and build positive, trusting relationships with participants.  

No mentoring or coaching experience is required. Just a positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for empowering young girls. Training, curriculum, and program resources are provided.

Program is one hour/week for an 8-week term, with 3 program terms during the school year (fall, winter, spring). Training, resources and curriculum material are provided.
