"Game On!" Boys' Group Program Mentor

Game On! is a daytime school-based group program for elementary-aged boys with the goal of teaching and encouraging a range of life-long healthy lifestyle practices. A team of 2-3 male mentors provide relatable guidance, encouragement through shared activities, and positive role models while building their confidence and resilience. Mentors will collaboratively deliver planned sessions that promote sportsmanship and healthy choices, encourage inclusive participation and respect, build positive, trusting relationships with participants, an provide a safe and supportive environment. No coaching experience is required. Just a positive attitude, reliability, and a desire to be a supportive role model. Training and program resources are provided. Step into the field of mentorship and help inspire the next generation of boys! Program is one hour/week for an 8-week term, with 3 program terms during the school year (fall, winter, spring). Training, resources and curriculum material are provided.
