Exploring Our Roots is a school-based group program that provides racialized youth with a space to discuss personal identity while learning to celebrate and embrace their own culture, uniqueness and diversity, as well as developing respect and acceptance for others. Youth will establish social connections and build positive mentoring relationships, build self-esteem and positive self-identity.

2-3 mentors will collaboratively lead the group in a school setting during the day for 1 hour per week. The program is divided into 3 program terms during the school year (Fall, Winter, Spring) and each term runs for 8 weeks.
