Through an innovative direct-source volunteering model, we empower individuals, strengthen families, and unite communities, especially those facing systemic barriers such as women, seniors, new immigrants, low-income individuals, and marginalized groups. Our mission is carried out through Generosity Hub (currently managed via Facebook Private Group Marketplace), impactful inclusive programs and events, partnerships with businesses and philanthropists, and advocacy for generosity as a force for social change. By breaking down traditional barriers to support and promoting a culture of giving and receiving, we envision a world where kindness, justice, and human connection thrive.

📝ROLE OVERVIEW
Volunteer Well is seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to revamp and maintain our website, ensuring it remains an effective tool for our mission. The ideal candidate will be a WordPress expert responsible for updating content, improving forms, enhancing design elements, and ensuring the site is secure, user-friendly, and aligned with our organization’s goals.

🧩KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Website Content & Design:
•Manage and update website content using WordPress.
•Ensure the website remains functional, up-to-date, and user-friendly.
•Revise and improve website forms for better usability and functionality.
•Enhance design and layout for a modern, visually appealing experience.
•Conduct regular audits to identify and implement improvements.

Website Maintenance & Performance:
•Perform regular performance tests and address technical issues promptly.
•Troubleshoot and resolve website errors to ensure seamless user experience.

SEO & Optimization:
•Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility and rankings.
•Optimize content and website structure for better engagement.

🎓Qualifications:
•Strong working knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem.
•Experience in website performance optimization and troubleshooting.
•Understanding search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.
•Attention to detail for identifying and correcting issues.
•Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva).
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, volunteer-driven environment.
•Passion for volunteerism and making a positive impact in the community.
