Edmonton Casino Volunteer Back-ups- June 13 & 14

**Note that all shifts are currently filled but we are looking for a few backups who can be called in at the last minute in case we lose people to illness or other emergency.**
 
Join us in raising funds for kids' literacy programs and have fun in the process!

The Young Alberta Book Society is seeking volunteers for our casino fundraiser at the Grand Villa Casino in Edmonton on June 13 & 14. The work is not difficult and you will be trained and supervised by a professional casino advisor. 

The conversation in the cash cage is usually lively while chip runners have lots of time to chill in the volunteer room with their books, phones, or the tv. 

Various shift options and positions are available on a first come, first served basis.
Shifts are approximately: 
Daytime Cash Cage & Chip Runners: 1:15pm to 9pm
Nighttime Cash Cage & Chip Runners: 8:15pm to 3:45am
Count Room: 11pm to 3:30am

Meals, drinks, and snacks are provided on-site and we can cover parking or other transportation costs.

Things to know:
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
Volunteers may not play casino games at Grand Villa for the duration of the casino event.
Volunteers must not be under the influence of liquor, cannabis, or illegal drugs for the duration of their shifts.
