Edmonton Casino Volunteers - Feb 22 & 23, 2026

Join us in raising funds for kids' literacy programs and have fun in the process!

The Young Alberta Book Society is seeking volunteers for our casino fundraiser at the Century Casino in Edmonton on Feb 22 & 23 The work is not difficult and you will be trained and supervised by a professional casino advisor. 

The conversation in the cash cage is usually lively while chip runners have lots of time to chill in the volunteer room with their books, phones, or the tv. 

Various shift options and positions are available on a first come, first served basis.
Shifts are approximately: 
Daytime Cash Cage & Chip Runners: 9:15 to 6:30/7:00pm
Nighttime Cash Cage & Chip Runners: 6:15-3:15/3:45am
Count Room: 11pm to 3:30am

Meals, drinks, and snacks are provided on-site and we can cover parking or other transportation costs.

Things to know:
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
Volunteers may not play casino games at Century Casino for the duration of the casino event.
Volunteers must not be under the influence of liquor, cannabis, or illegal drugs for the duration of their shifts.
