Position Title: Volunteer Graphic Designer
Reports To: Communications Director

Position Overview:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Volunteer Graphic Designer to assist with designing visual materials that represent our community league’s values and activities. This role involves creating eye-catching designs for social media, newsletters, event promotions, and other digital or print materials. If you have a passion for design and community engagement, this is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your skills and expand your portfolio.
This is a volunteer position requiring approximately 4–8 hours per month.

Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design: Create engaging visuals for social media posts, newsletters, flyers, banners, and other promotional materials.
Brand Alignment: Ensure all designs adhere to the community league’s branding and visual identity guidelines.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Communications Director and other volunteers to understand project goals and deliver creative solutions.
Content Adaptation: Resize and adapt graphics for use across multiple platforms and formats.
Feedback Integration: Revise designs based on feedback to meet communication objectives.
Time Commitment:
Approximately 4–8 hours per month, depending on project deadlines and events.
Flexible scheduling to accommodate personal commitments.

Qualifications:
Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, or similar.
Strong understanding of design principles and best practices.
Creativity and attention to detail.
Reliable and able to meet deadlines.
Experience with print and digital design is an asset but not required.
Ideal for university students or aspiring designers looking to grow their portfolio.
