Van Drivers & Swampers Needed: Sports Equipment Donation Pickup

Sport Central is looking to add drivers and swampers for our Donation Pickup Van. 

Drivers: responsible for driving to and picking up donations of sports and recreation equipment from various sites around the city, dropping off posters/fliers at retail locations, and delivering bicycles to families.

Swampers: Generally assist or help with loading & unloading the equipment. They do all the things the drivers do except drive! 

This opportunity (driving or swamping) is open Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 2:00pm. 
 
We receive donated equipment for 20 different sports and recreational activities - the largest item(s) typically being Bicycles. We collect from 50 different donation sites across Edmonton and surrounding areas. 

*While we are grateful for all applications, our ideal volunteer applicant would be available to commit to a minimum 5 hour shift, 1 day a week*

Valid Class 5 Drivers License and a recent Drivers Abstract.
