Reception Assistant / Data Entry

Help Sport Central reception by answering phones, scheduling appointments, and inputting client information. Additional tasks include checking voicemails, preparing inventory pickups, and preparing client referrals.

Brief Example of Key Task:
When a child is referred to us, we create a profile. Each time the child accesses our services, it is imperative we track the details of their visit. Keen attention to detail is necessary for this type of task in order to maintain accurate records and retain our charitable status. 

This position is open Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. 

PLEASE NOTE:
While we appreciate all our applicants, our organization is not set up for short-term volunteer work. All our volunteer roles need thorough training from our small team of 12 staff members. 

-Volunteers MUST be available minimum of 4+ hours, per shift.

-If you arere actively looking for a full-time job, unfortunately, we are not able to able to take you on as a volunteer in this area due to our limited training resources and staff capacity. 
-While we would love to see you find gainful employment, if that is your goal, it is rare for us to offer job opportunities beyond volunteering because of how our organization is structured and funded.
-If you are still interested in getting involved, we encourage you to join our volunteer program at the bike shop on Saturdays, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
