Bicycle Mechanic (NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!)
The Sport Central Bik Shop distributes over 3000 bikes to kids, annually. Our Bike shop has volunteer opportunities year round for any skill level. Our Bike Sop is open from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday* *Training will be provided for all positions* -Applicants with no previous bike experience must be available for 3+ hours per shift. Bicycle Pre-Service: -inflate tires -install bell, reflector, and Sport Central sticker -strip non-functional accessories (baskets, paniers, streamers) -wash and label bikes prior to repair Bicycle Parts Salvage: -Strip and stock high valued parts, dispose of residuals. Bicycle Repair: -Repair -test ride, and label pre-serviced bikes in accordance with serviceability standards.
