Performing Arts Volunteer

The Performing Arts Studio Volunteer supports our creative programs helping to run and maintain a welcoming, safe, and fun environment in the Performance Studio while helping iHuman artists bring their creative ideas to life.

Builds trusting and positive relationships with iHuman young artists.
Engages and meets iHuman young artists where they are at emotionally, intellectually, and psychologically.
Facilitates and provides support for youth Performing Arts projects when needed.
Assists with technical guidance to artists for spoken word, dance, theatre, or other performing arts related projects. 
Assists with operational tasks such as regular organization, equipment maintenance, equipment maintenance and inventory management of performing arts resources. 
Assists with the coordination of occasional projects such as rehearsals, performances, individual or collective studio projects, festival participation, community events, etc.
Option to lead occasional performing arts projects and workshops. 
Other general tasks and assistance to the Performing Arts Studio assigned by the Fashion Studio and Theatre Coordinator

Certification or Education Required
Performing Arts related experience and/or education. 
Experience with Spoken Word, Dance, Theatre or devising Performing Arts projects.
