Volunteer LinkedIn Social Media Manager

Healthy Aligned Living (HAL) is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to supporting at-risk youth, young adults, and families through education, mentorship, mental wellness, and community-based programs.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Volunteer LinkedIn Social Media Manager to manage, develop, and grow HAL's professional presence on LinkedIn. This role will help us strengthen our visibility, establish meaningful professional connections, and attract potential partners, sponsors, donors, and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and regularly update HAL's LinkedIn organization page.
- Create and publish engaging, professional content highlighting HAL's programs, events, achievements, and community impact.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase LinkedIn followers, engagement, and visibility.
- Build professional connections with businesses, nonprofits, community leaders, potential donors, and sponsors.
- Promote HAL's volunteer opportunities, fundraising initiatives, partnerships, and upcoming events.
- Collaborate with our leadership, marketing, and communications volunteers to maintain consistent organizational branding and messaging.
- Monitor page performance and recommend improvements based on LinkedIn analytics.
- Identify opportunities to expand HAL's professional network and strengthen its reputation within the nonprofit sector.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Experience managing LinkedIn business or nonprofit organization pages.
- Strong communication, writing, and content creation skills.
- Understanding of LinkedIn engagement, audience growth, and professional networking strategies.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and digital marketing.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
- Experience with Canva or similar graphic design tools is an asset.
- Previous nonprofit or community organization experience is beneficial but not required.
